Conference Goals:

Educate and inform in a way that neither advocates or discourages cannabis use, but presents currently known science, evidence, research and potential liabilities.

Develop a common glossary which provides healthcare professionals with the language to discuss medical cannabis

Increase knowledge in the scientific areas of the Endocannabinoid system, current uses, published evidence, new research, drug/drug and drug/disease interactions

Increase knowledge in the potential liabilities of medical cannabis and examine this liability through a mock trial - “The Case the World is Waiting For”; A doctor, a patient, a fatal accident, cannabis. Two lawyers. The audience is the jury in this live courtroom drama!

“Medical Cannabis; The science. The research. The risks.” is a full spectrum education program for the medical community, starting with a conference on November 15th, 2019 in New York. The focus of this conference is to increase the scientific and legal knowledge of healthcare professionals (physicians, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners) and medical legal professionals.  Anyone who wants to learn more about the science and potential liability surrounding cannabis would benefit and are welcome to attend.
